As you prepare to arrive, IT will now coordinate performing some processes on your notebook in order to get you properly connected to your new office location’s resources.  This ensures that you have access to the proper file folders and printer/copier resources as you need them. Your email address will remain the same, if you are already within the Southern Territory.

We will automatically update your office location, telephone, cell phone and other directory info on the official effective date of your move. This information is viewable using Outlook, Office 365 Delve and at directory.sauss.net.

The SAUSS Portal provides quick access to Outlook on the Web, Office 365, DIG, North American Disposition of Forces, USS Bulletins, Minute Book, War Cry, Southern Spirit, Ministry Toolkit and Officer’s Health Services, please bookmark http://portal.sauss.net

Please choose a primary and secondary date and time to bring your laptop to IT during the week of June 18 – 22, 2018 between the following time slots.
We will work to complete the necessary setup processes within a 3 hour period after dropping off.

Please send an email to the USSHelpDesk@uss.salvationarmy.org with your first and second time choices and we will coordinate the appointment with you.

All IT customer service requests should be submitted into the Southern Territory’s SPIRIT application.

Ways to report a technical incident or service request:

· Submit an Incident through the Self Service Portal called SPIRIT (spirit.sauss.net) using your SAUSS credentials
· Email USSHelpDesk@uss.salvationarmy.org
· Call Your Divisional Helpdesk
· IT Service Desk Analysts may request to connect to your computer remotely.

Information Technology assigns mobile phones typically from the previous officer in that position. The number stays the same. If it is a new position, then a new number and phone is assigned accordingly.
